Dealing with Contaminated Water – The Do’s and Don’t’s

Contaminated Water – Do’s:
- Avoid all contact with sewage and items contaminated by sewage
- Wash your hands thoroughly after contact with contaminated items.
- Keep pets and children away from contaminated areas.

Contaminated Water – Don’t’s:
- Spread contaminated water by walking on or through damages or wet areas.
- Turn on the HVAC system if there is a possibility of spreading contaminants through the air.

- Consume any food or beverages that have been exposed to contaminants.
