Items cleaned and stored after a residential fire in Cantonment, Florida

Caring For Your Belongings After a Fire

Residential fires can have multiple effects other than the flames themselves: soot and smoke can permeate through the property, affecting both structure and contents, fire extinguisher dust can soil items, or water from firefighting efforts can cause additional damages.  Recently, a local resident had a fire which damaged quite a bit of the structure of the home, but only caused minimal contents damage.  As a result, SERVPRO of Northwest Escambia County was able to salvage and clean a great deal of furniture, which we then wrapped and stored until the homeowner was able to take back possession of the items.
