After being called in for a water damage that was causing the ceiling to sag in a local home, SERVPRO of Northwest Escambia County's technicians discovered widespread mold growth forming in the insulation.  In order to contain the growth and save as much of the structure as possible, our team first contained the area where the mold had been discovered, followed by the removal of the insulation that was both wet and mold contaminated.  By removing the insulation, the source of moisture was eliminated that was contributing to the mold growth.  Our team then applied microbial spray to the surrounding structure, and sealed off the area until further reconstruction could take place.
